Russell is a passionate legal advisor focusing on Aboriginal law. Drawing on his background in environmental law and sustainability, he assists clients on matters related to:

Russell completed his articles at Ratcliff, having gained valuable experience during the first half of his articling term at the University of Victoria Environmental Law Centre (ELC). At the ELC, Russell worked on public interest environmental law files, including an amicus brief, submissions to the Consultation on the Future of Competition Policy in Canada, and reports on marine pollution and wildfire protection.

Russell’s commitment to environmental and community causes extends beyond his professional endeavors, having contributed to various projects and committees promoting social justice and community engagement.
