Renee earned early acceptance to UBC law school, graduating in 1991.
To dedicate time to her children, Renee opted to consult to a number of law firms before joining Ratcliff & Company. She provided research opinions, memoranda of arguments, and factums for cases to the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court of Canada; and provided services in insurance defence, professional liability, personal injury and complex commercial litigation.

Renee is an accomplished singer (including a year as the BC Lions' anthem singer), coaches soccer, and actively assists her children's school.
