- Advised First Nations and others on various aspects of the law relating to Aboriginal peoples including aboriginal and treaty rights, band governance, environmental matters, financings, gaming, mediation, membership, taxation, trusts and wills and estates.
- Acted for banks and borrowers regarding loans and security for various purposes including project financing, international financing and commercial and residential developments.
- Advised banks and other financial institutions on various aspects of the law relating to banking and finance.
- Been included as a leading practitioner of Aboriginal law in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory.
- Involved in general corporate/commercial legal practice including land development, partnerships and joint ventures and acquisition of businesses.
- Lectured in Law, at the London School of Economics and was Adjunct Professor, University of British Columbia.
