Personal Profile:
Brenda clerked at the Supreme Court of British Columbia before completing her articles at Ratcliff & Company in 2010. During her LL.B, she volunteered with the Law Students Legal Advice Program, Law Students for Choice, Lawyers Rights Watch Canada, Pivot and the UBC Women’s Caucus. Brenda has worked extensively with non-government organizations both in Canada and overseas. She spent nine years in Thailand, where she documented the human rights and environmental abuses of the military regime in Burma, focusing on indigenous and women’s human rights. Her work at Ratcliff primarily involves Aboriginal litigation.
